Update : Role management and group collaboration
Administrator role
Admins can now provide Manager role for users during creation or edition of an account, and pu them into groups.
One or more groups can be associated to a Manager.
Manager is automatically added to group if added for management.
A Manager without a group will have the same rights as an internal user.
New configuration option “Invite existing groups”
Allows Managers and Internal Users to invite groups on a folder.0
Admin groups can not be invited or have their rights modified.
Manager Role
New version for middle role between Admin and Internal User.
Limited access to Admin Panel (Users and Groups tabs).
Can:
Manage users in the managed groups (modify roles and informations and access policy).
Create new users inside of managed groups.
Manage supervised groups: members add or delete and modification of access policy.
Can not create new groups.
On folders :
If Manager has been given rights to invite : Manager can invite supervised users or groups.
Without rights to invite : Manager can only manage alerts over managed groups.
If “Invite to collaborate existing users” is turned on, Manager can invite every existing groups (except Admins) and give them access rights.
Internal User
Can now invite groups on folders if :
Admin or Manager has given rights to invite AND “invite to collaborate existing groups” is turned on.
