Update available starting June 16
This update brings four new features : a much faster navigation, an AI-powered search, a new mobile app and a desktop application for bulk transfers.
What's new ?
Navigation up to 10× faster
Folders and trash and search and activity list load noticeably faster, no matter how many items they contain.
Every API request runs faster too. The same applies to NetExplorer applications, such as business integrations, and transfers.
WebDAV has also been reworked : more responsive, and macOS compatible.
Smart search, powered by AI
Three levels of search:
· by file or folder name
· in the content of your documents, with the matching words highlighted
· AI-augmented : semantic search lets you find a document based on the meaning of the words
AI search understands the intent of your query, even without the exact words. A search for "supplier contract", for example, can surface a document titled "service agreement with the subcontractor". AI indexing runs directly on NetExplorer infrastructure to keep your documents confidential.
Search filters can target documents by type, date or tag.
Note : a NetExplorer Workspace plan is required to use extended search (content and AI search).
New NetExplorer Workspace mobile app
New native iOS and Android apps are available on stores. You'll find navigation across your spaces (Company, Private, Shared with you), bookmarks, sharing, document import and scan, along with an offline mode for faster access to your files on the go.
Access to the app can be protected by PIN or biometrics. The lock policy can be set up by your administrator from the admin console.
NetExplorer Import
A new application to bulk import your data into your platform.
Whether you're migrating from an existing service or simply bringing in large amounts of data, NetExplorer Import gives you an ultra-fast way to send your files and folders, regardless of the size.
Choose your import source (computer, SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, or Box), then select folders to transfer and destination folder on NetExplorer, the import then runs automatically, preserving the folder structure and the dates of your documents.

For administrators
Automatic lock settings for the mobile app (PIN, biometrics, inactivity timeout) can be set up from the admin console, under Configuration > Security > Mobile.
