NetExplorer Share - Multi-source sharing - May 2026

This major update to NetExplorer Share now lets you share files directly from your clouds, without having to download them to your machine first.

What's new ?

Connect your clouds to NetExplorer Share

SharePoint, Google Drive, Box and Dropbox are now integrated as sharing sources. Select your files directly from your external cloud, NetExplorer Share takes care of the rest. The transfer happens cloud to cloud : your files never transit through your machine.

A single interface, whatever the source

When creating a share, you choose your source: an external cloud, a NetExplorer portal, or your local device. The origin of each file is visible in the summary for full traceability.

A verification screen before sending

Before confirming your share, a summary shows you the file list, recipients and applied settings. No more wrong attachment mistakes.

A PDF proof of sending

After each share, you can generate a timestamped PDF receipt (sender, files, recipients, source, configuration). This document remains available even after the share has expired.

Integration with the Outlook connector

From the NetExplorer connector for Outlook, share files by link whether they are stored on your computer or in your usual cloud. Fewer heavy attachments, more secure and tracked exchanges.

For administrators

A new setting lets you control the authorized sources for your organization: enable or disable sharing from local devices, portals, and each external cloud. You keep full control over the sharing channels used by your teams.
